AT THE END of the eighties, Drazen Petrovic and Zvonimir Boban were the best-known sports stars not only in Zagreb, but also in the entire country. Boban, four years younger than Drazen, was the captain of Dinamo as well as the captain of the Youth National Team of Yugoslavia that won the title of the world champion in 1987, while Petrovic was the best European basketball player at the time.

They were great friends, and yesterday, on the 27th anniversary of Drazen Petrovic's death, Zvone Boban remembered this basketball Mozart by posting a legendary photo of the two of them at the Zagreb Saloon.

"I miss you a lot my friend, today is a sad day for everyone in Croatia," Boban writes in his post.
