SOME tourists from Hungary panicked when they noticed that they had lost a bag containing money and items worth 80,000 euros, but people from Losinj came to their aid and found the bag.

According to the Glas otoka portal, this Monday some tourists from Hungary rented a dinghy in Mali Losinj, and on their way back, while refueling at a gas station, they noticed that they had lost their bag containing money and items worth 80,000 euros.

They immediately informed the police and the owner of the dinghy, Ludwig Curi, an entrepreneur from Mali Losinj, who organized a search for the lost items with his son Kristijan, nephew Marin and his friend Andrija Glavan in the Augusta bay in Mali Losinj. The money and valuable items were found on the surface of the sea by the owner of the dinghy, Ludwig Curi.

Curi revealed to Glas otoka that the bag contained 30,000 euros in cash and a Rolex watch worth tens of thousands of euros.

He returned the lost items to their owners, who rewarded the finders with 6,000 euros.
